Rene obtained his Honours BMath degree from the University of Waterloo in 1992 and his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993 while articling with a large international firm in London, Ontario.
Rene has spent his career providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to owner - managed businesses and professionals as well as audit services to a variety of not-for-profit organizations. Providing business and tax solutions and helping clients keep more of what they make is what defines his success. Rene was a partner with Zaritsky Penny LLP since 2004 before merging with NPT LLP in 2009.
Rene is married and has 2 sons. He is active in the community and assists local charities and his sons' school. When time permits, he enjoys running, cycling, golf and various home improvements.
