Piyush Shah obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1989 while practicing with a multi-national firm in Mississauga, Ontario. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from York University.

Prior to joining NPT LLP in 2003, Piyush was a partner for ten years with a local accounting firm in London, Ontario. Piyush’s primary focus is providing accounting, audit, tax and consulting services to owner-managed businesses and professionals. He also provides audit and special consulting services to large private sector clients and not-for-profit organizations. His varied range of clients includes those from the manufacturing, retail and service industry sectors, as well as professionals in the medical and dental sectors.

Piyush is committed to community service and is currently on the executive of the Board of the Childrens Aid Society of Middlesex and London and the Hindu Cultural Centre. He has also been involved as President of the Entrepreneurial Chartered Accountants of London and Treasurer of Unicef London, and the board of the Hindu Cultural Centre.

Piyush is married, has two young daughters and believes strongly in a balance between work and family life.
