Doug Plummer obtained his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1979 while practicing with a large international accounting firm in Windsor, Ontario. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Western Ontario in 1974 and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor in 1977.

Doug joined NPT LLP in 2000 as Manager-Taxation Services and practices almost exclusively in the tax field. Doug has quite varied experience providing tax advice to many different businesses over the years but particularly prides himself in developing unique and creative solutions to problems and opportunities in the owner managed field.

Doug has extensive teaching experience having presented a variety of tax courses for The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, the University of Windsor and The Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.

In his spare time, Doug enjoys flying, skiing and golf.
